Plaintiff protected herself by pulling her neighbor’s hair back. Plaintiff called police. Defendants arrived and approached, pushed, and assaulted and battered Plaintiff. Defendants pushed Plaintiff’s chest towards the hallway wall. Defendants seized Plaintiff’s person with their outstretched hands, grabbed her, and searched her person by rifling their hands through Plaintiff’s clothing and personal belongings. Defendants grabbed Plaintiff’s arms, contorting them behind her back and applying tight metal handcuffs. Plaintiff requested the handcuffs be loosened, but Defendants ignored her pleas. Defendants placed Plaintiff in a police vehicle and transported her to the 108th Precinct where she was processed, interrogated without counsel or being Mirandized, before being transported to Central Booking. On October 29, 2022, Plaintiff was released from physical custody after her arraignment.
