Plaintiff protested that the officers were acting overly aggressive for a minor offense. Officer Pruden became enraged and Plaintiff decided to leave the scene and walk towards his car. Officer Pruden decided to follow him to his car and walked into his car door as it was being opened. Officer Pruden falsely claimed that Plaintiff intentionally struck him with the car door and then began assaulting, battering, and using excessive force against Plaintiff. Officer Porcelli observed and did not intervene. Officers Pruden and Porcelli also intentionally loosened their body cameras to avoid videotaping.\n\nOfficers Jonathan Miranda and Jerry Sukhnandan arrived at the scene and did not intervene. Defendants detained Plaintiff's vehicle and illegally searched it. Plaintiff eventually came to the door and opened a few inches when Sergeant Sukhnanadan put his foot in the crack and pushed the door open. Sergeant Sukhnanadan pushed his way into the apartment which knock plaintiff to the floor and he began beating plaintiff with his baton while the additional officers flipped plaintiff over and handcuffed him.
