The defendants pointed their weapons directly into the face of the plaintiff, who feared for his life.  The defendants told the plaintiff they wouldn't be able to tell him why they were arresting him.  Plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to a precinct where he was jailed.  He was seized, fingerprinted, photographed and interrogated.  The defendants took the plaintiff's phone and searched it.  After ca. 20 hours, plaintiff was taken to Central Booking and held there until his arraignment on August 16, 2020.  He was then remanded to Rikers Island for 34 days until his release on September 29, 2020.  The defendants prepared a felony complaint against the plaintiff, charging him with three counts of robbery, thereby relying on hearsay of other officers who conveyed false information from an unknown informant.  The plaintiff was not in possession of any firearm.  On February 8, 2021, the case against the plaintiff was dismissed.
