The Defendants then \"ransacked\" the apartment, causing damage to the personal belongings of Plaintiffs Rosario, Concepcion and Claus. The Defendants then transported Plaintiffs Claus and Cruz to the local precinct and ultimately to central booking. The Defendants set forth fabricated charges against Plaintiff Cruz, initiating a criminal prosecution against him for the possession of marijuana. The charges against Plaintiff Cruz were ultimately dropped. However, Plaintiff Cruz was held in custody for 19 days AFTER the charges were dropped. Plaintiff Claus spent two days in police custody. Plaintiff Cruz spent 21 days in custody.
