Defendant Officers John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 aggressively began to corner a civilian who had been recording them. John Doe 1 and 2 aggressively twisted the individuals arms behind his back and placed their knees in his back while grabbing his arms. The individual asked Mr. Kaminski to keep recording with his cellphone that had fallen on the ground but one of the Defendant Officers crushed the cellphone. Mr Kaminski then took out his own phone and began to record the officers assaulting the individual. Defendant John Doe 3 told Mr. Kaminski to stop filming and to back up. Mr. Kaminski began backing up but Defendant John Doe 3 began pushing Mr. Kaminski anyway. Mr. Kaminski was pushed 3 times by John Doe 3-5 and then violently thrown to the ground by John Doe 3-5 and assaulted with their knees placed in his back. Mr. Kaminski was screaming in pain that his leg was hurt, but the officers dragged him to the police car. Instead of transporting Mr. Kaminski to the hospital, they took him to the precinct. While doing so, Defendant police officers Crawford and DeWeese, who were standing in the vicinity of the trash compactor, suddenly and aggressively began screaming at Plaintiff about what was good for her health. Plaintiff ignored the Defendants and returned to her apartment, and saw the Defendant officers walk downstairs. The Defendants returned to the floor where the Plaintiff's apartment was located. Plaintiff's apartment door was slightly ajar, and the Defendants asked if they could come in. Plaintiff denied the Defendants entry. The Defendants then became angry, pulled Plaintiff's hair, and unlawfully and forcefully entered the apartment, without reasonable suspicion or legal justification. Defendant Crawford proceeded to throw Plaintiff against a wall and handcuff her with excessively tight handcuffs. The Defendants detained Plaintiff in the handcuffs for one hour.
