He had a license for the event. Police officers McManus, Gilkes, and Sergeant Louis forcefully broke into plaintiff's home by breaking through a gate. One of the officers told the plaintiff that \"this is not a West Indian neighborhood anymore,\" and arrested the plaintiff. He was beaten, handcuffed in excessively tight handcuffs, and thrown into the police vehicle. At the 71st precinct, he was strip searched. He was also beaten and assaulted once handcuffed. The officers then pressed charges against plaintiff of resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana, and prohibited noise, all of which plaintiff had to defend himself against.\nOn September 7, 2013,  police officer Guelle and some other, unidentified officers came to the plaintiff's home again.
