The ADA handling the prosecution and pending Paris trial was Defendant ADA Spiro. In the courtroom, Plaintiff was approached by plain clothes police officers, escorted from the courtroom and arrested. Ragolia took her to the DA's office where she sat for a number of hours handcuffed to a chair. She was arranged by ADA Spiro, charged with Witness Tampering felonies. On October 19, 2012, plaintiff appeared in court and bail was set at $100,000. Plaintiff was remanded to jail. On October 25, 2013, plaintiff was produced but the DA declined to present the case to the Grand Jury. A judge released plaintiff that day and the case was adjourned until December 19, 2012. Her incarceration from October 19 to October 25 prevented her from being called by the defense in defendant ADA's Spiro's prosecution of Paris.
