Plaintiff was arrested despite there being no probable cause to believe that plaintiff committed any crimes or offenses. At the precinct, the officers falsely informed employees of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office that they had observed plaintiff committing crimes and/or offenses. After spending approximately twenty-four hours in custody at Brooklyn Central Booking, plaintiff was arraigned and released.
