Plaintiff entered the lobby and proceeded to the elevators. While waiting for the elevator, plaintiff was approached by defendant, who demanded plaintiff show a visitor's pass. Plaintiff informed defendant no one was present at the reception desk or the lobby and no one told him he needed a pass. Defendant began harassing plaintiff, called him a name, and used unnecessarily hostile language. While plaintiff was speaking with the first officer, a second officer, suddenly grabbed plaintiff from behind, by the neck, and placed him in a choke hold. Defendant officer slammed plaintiff's head against a wall. While in a choke hold, a second defendant officer jumped in and attempted to take plaintiff to the ground, and a third defendant officer attempted to handcuff him. A superior officer arrived and ordered defendant officers to get off plaintiff. Plaintiff requested medical attention. The superior officer informed plaintiff he would have to arrest him if he insisted on receiving medical attention, or could leave without receiving medical attention and without being arrested. Plaintiff left without receiving medical attention.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=2XKbGTDzNO90XW7SD023/g==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"VHG7","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/VHG7"}
