Defendant Lendor and other police officers approached Plaintiff and began taunting the plaintiff and issuing orders telling him to place his hands behind his back. When Plaintiff asked what was going on the defendant police officers forcibly grabbed plaintiff and slammed him down on the floor, kicking, stomping hitting and punching him. Defendants then conducted an illegal search which yielded nothing. Plaintiff had come to a hospital where his son had been admitted as a gunshot victim.  Plaintiff was not an immediate threat to himself before being tased, nor was he actively resisting custody.  The discharge of the taser knocked the plaintiff to the ground forcefully.  He struck his wrist and sustained scrapes and bruises.  The plaintiff was handcuffed on the ground.  Later the police transported the plaintiff to a precinct, where he was detained for several hours.  As a result of being tased, the plaintiff sustained a serious injury to his left wrist, causing significant pain and discomfort.
