Officer Sandoval directed Plaintiff's supervisor to leave the area, and Officer Riley swore at Plaintiff, grabbed her, slammed her against the wall, and then slammed her (face down) against the floor.  Officer Riley then dug his knee into Plaintiff's back as he handcuffed her with unnecessary tightness.  Riley then pulled Plaintiff off the floor by the handcuffs.  When Plaintiff complained about the handcuffs, Riley tightened them even more.  He then grabbed Plaintiff's buttocks and felt around her crotch, claiming he was searching her.  When the two officers took Plaintiff into an elevator, they continued pushing her around.  The officers eventually slammed Plaintiff into an emergency stop.  Once the police and fire department came to rescue the group from the stopped elevator, Plaintiff asked a third officer to loosen her handcuffs.  He refused.  \n\nAfter she was transported to the precinct and slammed into a desk, Plaintiff asked for medical attention and was denied by Sandoval and Riley.  Riley then threatened to take away Plaintiff's child and yanked her injured wrist to obtain a fingerprint.  Another officer witnessed the scene, asked what was wrong with Plaintiff's wrist, and gently worked with Plaintiff to obtain the fingerprint.  Plaintiff was then brought to Central Booking, arraigned, and released.  Plaintiff's public defender said merely that the case would be dismissed in six months.  Upon returning to the Precinct to recover her belongings, Plaintiff learned that her property had been tossed into a communal bag.  Plaintiff ultimately required medical care for her back and wrist.  She was also completely exonerated by the Back to Work Program, which found Plaintiff did nothing wrong.
