Defendant Officers asked Plaintiff for identification, which she provided, at which point Defendant Officers immediately and without provocation or probable cause, began to arrest Plaintiff, subjecting her to an unlawful pat-down search and tightly restraining her with metal handcuffs. Defendants then transported Plaintiff to the 88th Precinct. Upon arrival at the precinct, Defendant Officers pulled Plaintiff from the back of the vehicle to forcefully that she fell to the pavement, injuring herself. Plaintiff requested medical attention for her injuries and as she lie on the ground waiting for an ambulance to arrive, Defendant Officers laughed and ridiculed her. While Plaintiff was in custody, Defendant Police Officers provided the Kings County District Attorney’s Office with the false, misleading, and/or incomplete information that Plaintiff committed a crime, to wit, that Plaintiff was engaged in Possession of a Forged Instrument, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle, Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, and other related charges. Furthermore, the officers continued to prosecute Natal despite should have knowing the unreasonableness of the claim.
