During this time Defendant's did not allow the Plaintiff's family who lived with her to enter the home. As a result, Plaintiff's children were forced to sleep outside on the porch of their home for those two nights. Defendants unlawfully handcuffed and falsely arrested Plaintiff before the search of her house was complete. While she was held in the 120th Precinct, the Plaintiff began menstruating. She requested menstruation products but the Defendants refused to provide them to her and the Plaintiff bled through her pants. Due to the severity of the criminal charges, Plaintiff's bail was set at $15,000, which she could not afford. The was transported to Rose M. Singer Center on Riker's Island where she was held for an additional 4 days.
