Fingerprints and other evidence was collected, and witnesses were interviewed. The fingerprints did not match the Plaintiff's, and three of four witnesses did not identify him. Despite the evidence that Plaintiff was not the perpetrator, Detective Manzi arrested and charged him with two of the robberies. Sergeant Hillman, Manzi's supervisor, signed off on his work. \n\nUnable to make bail, Plaintiff was incarcerated for 7 months and 6 days before the charges were finally dismissed on June 12, 2023.
