Defendants transported plaintiff to the 25th Precinct for processing. After many hours plaintiff was released and issued a DAT which charged him with Assault in the Third Degree. Officers provided the New York DA with false evidence to support their arrest and charging plaintiff with crimes. On July 22, 2021, plaintiff was arraigned in NY Criminal Court and charged with crimes. Plaintiff was prosecuted based on allegations provided by the defendants. Plaintiff was released from custody on his own recognizance. Plaintiff appeared in Criminal Court on three occasions.
