Transporting the plaintiff took five days, and during the transport, the plaintiff was constantly handcuffed. At the precinct, the plaintiff was assaulted, battered, falsely arrested, and forced to remain in a dirty, infested holding cell for eight hours. He was then brought to the New York County Criminal Court and was again forced to remain in a dirty, infested holding cell. \n\nAfter appearing before the New York County Criminal Court, the plaintiff was charged with two misdemeanors for a 2015 incident that the NYPD defendants failed to thoroughly investigate. He was then transported back to the upstate New York correctional facility, a transfer that took another five days. Finally, after yet another transport back to the 24th Precinct, in June 2016, all charges against the plaintiff were dismissed. As a result of the transfers, handcuffing, assault, battery, and malicious prosecution, the plaintiff suffered sleeplessness, headaches, nightmares, and other emotional distress.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=1g0ZbRgExm53UR0t6Yg9zQ==","type":"complaint"}]},{"name":"Jackson, Tanesha vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2014-12-10","disposition_date":"2015-10-25","payout_amount":15000,"disposition":"Settlement","docket":"015292/2014","court":"Supreme Court - Kings","officer_name":"Marquez, Elizabeth A."},{"name":"Drayton v.
