Plaintiff was then transported against his will to the 23rd precinct where he was unlawfully searched and detained in a filthy holding cell for many hours. The defendant officers provided the NYC DA's Office with false, misleading, and incomplete evidence to justify their arrest.  Plaintiff was transported to Central Booking where the unlawful detention continued until he was arraigned on December 1, 2020, approximately 24 hours after he was initially arrested. Plaintiff could not afford bail so he remained in NYC DOC's custody on Riker's Island until December 4, 2020 without proper food, bed, or toilet.
