Daniel Connelly accelerated his police vehicle past a red traffic light, unexpectedly, recklessly, and negligently, with the intention of stopping Mr. Olatunji-Ojo, and caused him to slam into the NYPD vehicle. The collision between Mr. Olatunji-Ojo and the Defendants P.O. Connelly and P.O. Matthew Neubauer was caused by the unexpected acceleration and sudden stop of Defendants' police vehicle past a red light.  After the collision, the Defendants unlawfully and wrongfully searched Mr. Olatunji-Ojo and arrested him, handcuffing him to his hospital bed. Mr. Olatunji-Ojo did not violate any law, rule, or regulation, or act in any way that would justify\nthe actions of the Defendants to stop him the way that they did and/or jeopardize his life, safety, and wellbeing the way that they did.
