Ms. May observed her son being fully compliant, handcuffed and subdued by the defendant officers. Without notice, the officers began to severely beat her son while handcuffed. Ms. May asked the defendant officers why they were beating her son and they responded by verbally abusing and threatening Ms. Pratt and ultimately throwing Ms. Pratt through the air, causing her to crash into ground and sustain personal injuries. Ms. Pratt was not charged or arrested for any crimes although the officers did threaten to charged her with crimes if she sought medical attention.
