Plaintiff realized he purchased the wrong card and returned the next day to upgrade the card. A store employee told him he could not return or exchange the card, despite company policy stating otherwise. Plaintiff demanded to speak to the store manager or owner, but the employee insisted she was the manager and owner. Plaintiff called his girlfriend for advise, who told him to call the police. The employee overheard the call and called the police first. The police arrived and told Plaintiff to leave the store, which he did. As he left, Plaintiff told the officers the refusal to refund or exchange was fraud and that he would call the FBI on the store. NYPD officer Christopher Doll responded by restricting Plaintiff and asking the employee if her life was threatened, to which she said “yes.” PO Doll placed handcuffs on Plaintiff while Officer Delsano looked on and did not intervene. Plaintiff was placed under arrest.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.400228/gov.uscourts.nyed.400228.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/7914739/udechukwu-v-gamestop-corp/"},{"officer_name":"Doll, Christopher S.","disposition":"Settlement","start_date":"2017-03-17","disposition_date":"2019-03-26","court":"Civil Court - Kings","docket":"004006/2017","name":"Union Mutual Fire Insurance Company Aso 9627 Farragut Llc vs City of New York, et al.","payout_amount":3187.52},{"name":"Paraison, Stevenson vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2016-12-08","disposition_date":"2020-07-15","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"Administrative Closing","docket":"521417/2016","court":"Supreme Court - Kings","officer_name":"Doll, Christopher","summary":"On February 16, 2014, Detective Christopher Doll arrested Plaintiff, charged him with various offenses, and transported him to the 69th Precinct.
