Defendant officers were outside of plaintiff’s home. Suddenly without warning, a defendant officer grabbed Plaintiff from behind, violently pushed her head and neck in a downward direction, causing severe pain, then punched her the face. Defendants left the scene, and Plaintiff, injured and in pain, went to Wykoff Heights Medical Center for treatment. At the Hospital, defendants appeared, and without probable cause, arrested Plaintiff and brought her to the 83rd Precinct. In excruciating pain, Plaintiff asked to be taken back to Wykoff\nHospital but defendants refused. EMS arrived and took Plaintiff to Woodhull Medical Center where she was treated, including being prescribed a neck brace and pain medication. Plaintiff was taken back to the 83rd Precinct, where the officers falsely informed employees of the Kings County DA’s Office they had observed Plaintiff commit various crimes and prepared false paperwork including an arrest report. The officers did not observe Plaintiff commit a crime. Plaintiff was taken to Central Booking. \nOn July 23, 2012, Plaintiff was arraigned in Kings County Criminal Court and released on her own recognizance after about 36 hours in custody. Upon release, Plaintiff still in pain, returned to Wykoff Hospital for further treatment.
