During the search of Plaintiff's son's bedroom, one of the officers found marijuana and a firearm. Plaintiff was placed under arrest and transported to the 73rd Precinct. \nPlaintiff was processed and detained in a holding cell. While in the cell Plaintiff began to suffer from an anxiety attack. She asked for medical assistance and for something to eat and drink, but her pleas were ignored. After asking for medical attention a second time and being verbally abused by an attendant officer, Plaintiff began to vomit. Plaintiff was then transported to Brookdale Hospital via ambulance. She was treated at the hospital and then sent back to the Precinct. At arraignment Plaintiff was charged with possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. After 13 hours in NYPD custody Plaintiff was released on her own recogniznce.
