Plaintiff was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. At the precinct, Plaintiff was strip searched; nothing unlawful was recovered from her person. Plaintiff’s breasts were intentionally, willfully, and maliciously touched. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 27 hours before she was ROR’ed at arraignment. One of the officers asked if they could search Plaintiff’s person; he did not consent. Nevertheless, the officers aggressively pushed Plaintiff on the side of a police van and unlawfully searched him. They did not recover any illegal weapons, drugs, or contraband of any kind from Plaintiff’s person. The officers handcuffed Plaintiff, arrested him, and placed him in the back of the van as they drove around for approximately 4 hours and arrested several other people. They offered Plaintiff a water bottle, but Plaintiff noticed they had removed it from a public trash can before giving it to him. Plaintiff was taken to the 75th Precinct, where he was detained for many hours, and eventually to Kings County Central Booking. After being detained for approximately 24 hours, Plaintiff was arraigned, charged with several crimes, and released on his own recognizance. The plaintiff's requests for the handcuffs to be loosened were ignored and his wrists later became bruised and swollen, as a result. The officers additionally seized a cell phone and $114 from the plaintiff. Undercover Officers C00209 and C00217 later drafted sworn statements falsely alleging that the plaintiff assisted a narcotics transaction by providing a phone number that was used in the transaction. Defendant officer Morales drafted arrest paperwork based on acting in concert in the sale of narcotics. Defendant officer Francis approved and condoned the arrest. These statements were used by prosecutors at the District Attorney's office to charge the plaintiff with a Class \"A\" Misdemeanor crime.
