The Officer's alleged that Plaintiff was in possession of the bags of crack cocaine and arrested him by handcuffing his arms tightly behind his back. On April 17, 2015, Plaintiff was transported to a police precinct and subject to an invasive strip search and physically assaulted by Officer Cesar and other unnamed Officers, wherein Plaintiff was denied medical treatment. Defendant filed false/misleading police reports and gave false/misleading information regarding the arrest. Plaintiff spent more than 43 months in custody before his acquittal. While Plaintiff was remanded without bail, Wardens Dunba and Grima, as well as unnamed correction officers/employees were on notice of the Plaintiff's psychological disorder but did not follow any policies and/or procedures with respect to an inmate with mental illness which resulted in the Plaintiff being subjected to violenr and brutal attacks by inmates and correction officers (severe injuries and was refused proper and timely medical treatment, including taking away his wheelchair and not providing medication that was prescribed to him).\nOn May 15, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC corrections officers on Rikers Island without reasonable justification. The Plaintiff lost consciousness and injured his neck and back. On May 22, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants at Elmhurst Hospital and injured his feet. On June 8, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC and reinjured his neck and back. On June 30, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants and reinjured his neck and back (on Rikers Island and unlawful placement in punitive segregation). On September 5, 105, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants and injured his left foot when they slammed a metal gate on the foot. On September 24, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by DOC defendants resulting in lose of consciousness and injured neck/back. On October 25, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by DOC defendants and was exposed to OC spray. On November 5, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants and reinjured his neck and back. On November 17, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants and was not able to attend his Court hearing because of reinjury to his neck, back, and wrist pain. On December 15, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by DOC defendant when they tried to take away his wheelchair. On December 16, 2015, Plaintiff was assaulted by the DOC defendants and reinjured his neck and back followed by punitive segregation for several months.
