Medina asked the Defendants why they were in her apartment and they responded that they were executing an arrest warrant for Victor Rodriguez. Medina asked for details about the warrant and Defendants attacked her - pushing her chest and slamming her into the wall and floor. Defendants then arrested Plaintiff Medina and handcuffed her, despite Medina not engaging in any unlawful behavior.  Medina was brought to a precinct where she was placed into a cell with other female prisoners for several hours, before being transported to central booking.  On March 21, 2019, she was arraigned and charged with Assault in the Third Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, and Harassment in the Second Degree.
