Gabbidon was driving his wife's vehicle and was on his way to pick up his wife when he drove past a police vehicle. Upon doing so, multiple officers began pursuing him and when he noticed such, Gabbidon pulled over and was surrounded by multiple officers. Gabbidon was at all time properly driving and the officers at no time had a probable reason to stop Gabbidon. Upon exiting the vehicle to comply with officers' request, he was thrown to the ground, was pushed down in the back with officers' knees and in the head. The officers suggested to Gabbidon that if bystanders weren't present, they would have used further severe force on Gabbidon. The officers continued to verbally harass Gabbidon during the arrest and did not tell him why he was being arrested. At no time did the officers have a warrant or a justifiable cause to arrest Gabbidon. \nThe officers then maliciously, intentionally, and falsely reported that Gabbidon was driving recklessly and left an accident without reporting despite knowing that none of them had occurred. At no time did the officers intervene to help Gabbidon. After being detained for about 7 hours, the district attorney declined to prosecute Gabbidon's case and dismissed charges against Gabbidon. As a result, Gabbidon suffered from physical pain and injury and emotional trauma and suffering including fear, embarrassment, humiliation, emotional distress, frustration, extreme inconvenience, anxiety, loss of liberty, and reputational harm.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=gHH5ThA3XrZ3URNkJtETgQ==","type":"complaint"}]},{"officer_name":"Soto, Michael","start_date":"2019-03-07","court":"Supreme Court - Bronx","docket":"022567/2019","name":"E.
