The defendant officers then illegally questioned the plaintiff and his companion about an alleged report of domestic violence that was purported to have occurred in the area and the Plaintiff clearly communicated that they were not involved. However, the defendant officers ignored the answer and continued to detain and question the Plaintiff and then aggressively, forcibly and violently separated the Plaintiff and his companion.  Defendant Grice then battered the Plaintiff's companion causing the plaintiff to fear for the safety of his companion, shock, and emotional distress. The Plaintiff then approached defendant Grice and lawfully questioned his conduct but the defendant battered and assaulted him by violently shoving and tasing him, causing him to fall to the ground. The defendants then handcuffed the Plaintiff using excessive force and ignored the Plaintiff's complaints. The defendants then illegally searched the Plaintiff and placed him in a police vehicle and transported him to the 7th Precinct where the Plaintiff was fingerprinted, searched, photographed, questioned without his counsel and illegally detained in a dank and dirty cell before being taken to Central booking. The Plaintiff was illegally detained in various cells for about 30 hours over two days before being released from physical custody. Defendant Grice also caused a criminal complaint to be filed against the Plaintiff, falsely accusing him of illegally possessing a firearm. The defendants also engaged in the suppression of evidence and the fabrication of false and fictitious evidence, namely that the Plaintiff was involved in a report of domestic violence and that he resisted arrest.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=I8Shn6pGECbkh7qfFuq0yw==","type":"complaint"}]}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/XS7-ian-grice.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"30529","other":"25153","total":"164192"},"id":"XS7","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/XS7"}
