When the officers arrested Plaintiff 1, they placed the handcuffs on so tightly that it caused extreme pain. Plaintiff 1 screamed in pain and immediately advised them of her pre-existing hand condition for which she was on several painkillers and had surgery scheduled. Plaintiff 1 repeatedly advised the officers of her pain throughout the ride to the precinct. PO Boriskin laughed at Plaintiff 1’s suffering. Plaintiff 1 was arraigned and went to the hospital around the time of arraignment. \n\nUpon arrival at the precinct, Plaintiff 1 called her husband, Plaintiff 2, and when he came, the officers made him stay and interrogated him for hours.
