Defendants searched plaintiff, demanded the location of any drugs, and threatened to arrest her and have her child taken away by the Administration of Child Services if she did not point out where any drugs and contraband were in the vehicle. Defendants then arrested all of the car's occupants, including plaintiff, and paraded them through the 81st Precinct while male officers made obscene comments and catcalled plaintiff, accusing her of being a prostitute. After confiscating plaintiff's cell phone, wallet, and charger, defendants told her in graphic detail how she was going to be strip-searched while other officers continued catcalling her and calling her a prostitute. When plaintiff cried and begged defendants to explain why they were treating her like this, defendants laughed and made fun of her. Plaintiff arrived at the strip search area and noticed that there were cameras aimed at the area that transmitted video to the main precinct area where the catcalling officers were. Plaintiff requested to be searched in a private area, and was told that she was going to be searched in that area whether consensually or forcibly and that nobody cared or wanted her. Defendants then strip-searched plaintiff against her will, forcing her to take off her clothes, bend over, squat, and expose her genitalia to the cameras, all the while making fun of her and laughing at her. After this strip search, plaintiff was placed in a cell and denied food, drink, and a phone call. Plaintiff was taken to Central Booking and eventually released through a side door after 30 hours. No arrest was ever processed or charges filed against her. When plaintiff went back to the precinct to retrieve her property, she discovered that her phone and cards were missing and her wallet had been torn and damaged. She has never received this property back.
