Plaintiff had asked his sister's boyfriend to leave, and that if he did not, that Plaintiff would call the police. Plaintiff's sister had then called the police and made a false statement that the Plaintiff had struck her and her boyfriend, but when the defendant POs arrived, the Plaintiff's sister recanted that story and noted that Plaintiff had not struck anyone.\n\nPO Wan stated that they would need to take Plaintiff in since he was a Corrections Officer, and Sgt. Danon asked for Plaintiff's firearm, to which request the Plaintiff complied. When Plaintiff asked if he was being arrested, Sgt. Danon said that he was not being arrested, so Plaintiff followed Sgt. Danon to the lobby, where Sgt. Danon ordered one of the officers to handcuff and search plaintiff before he was driven to the 25th precinct. At the precinct, Plaintiff was held in a holding cell for about 3-4 hours before being taken to central booking where his arrest was processed.\n\nIn order to cover up for their actions, to meet productivity quotas and justify overtime expenditures, the defendant officers conspired to falsely and maliciously tell the District Attorney's office that the Plaintiff had committed various crimes, despite having no evidence that the Plaintiff had done so. However, the DA's office refused to prosecute the case given the lack of basis to arrest plaintiff, and Plaintiff was released from central booking.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=MXqK_PLUS_AUVwiFdvfF19sbMNA==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"YEC3","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/YEC3"}
