Complaint
Description: Defendant officers forced their way into the plaintiffs home in Manhattan on October 29, 2019, where he was sleeping. With guns pointed at the plaintiff, the officers woke him up, then grabbed, pushed and shoved him. They then struck him in the head with heavyweight ballistic shields and pinned him down with the shields pressing down on his head. They tightly handcuffed him, which caused cuts, bruises, and numbness near his wrists. They then threw him to the floor, refused to tell him the reason for the arrest, conducted an illegal search of his home, and did not call for emergency services for his injuries.
