Description: On December 21, 2020, at the resident of the plaintiff, defendant officers, upon information and belief that they were responding to a call regarding an emotionally disturbed person, entered the plaintiff's residence , falsely arrested the plaintiff using excessive force - in particularly by throwing him on the floor and injuring his knee - and removed him to a hospital without his consent. Defendant officers then attempted to falsely charge plaintiff with a criminal offense, which the Queens District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute. As a result of the defendants' actions, plaintiff has been caused to suffer, amongst other things, physical, emotional and psychological injuries.
