Complaint
Description: On September 12, 2020, Plaintiff was driving his vehicle with two passengers in Kings County, New York. Unmarked NYPD vehicles tried to pull over Plaintiff’s vehicle. When Plaintiff eventually pulled over, NYPD officers—including Ronald Louie and Steven Tater—surrounded the vehicle. The officers forcibly removed Plaintiff from his vehicle, slamming him face first into the ground. The officers then punched Plaintiff in the face and kicked him in the head, causing Plaintiff to lose consciousness. Plaintiff woke in the holding cell of a precinct, with pain all over his body and blood coming from his face. Plaintiff demanded immediate medical treatment and an ambulance.
