Description: On November 21, 2019, Plaintiff Jahmel Sanders was at 107 Clinton Street, Manhatan, observing Defendant Officers stop and search a group of males, when Plaintiff stepped off the curb into the street, and was immediately apprehended by Defendant Officers Francisco Garcia and John Does 1-4, who pulled alongside him in a vehicle, exited, and unlawfully stopped, frisked, searched, and falsely arrested him. Plaintiff was taken to the PSA4 precinct, where he was searched and detained in a holding cell for 8 hours, until he was released with a criminal summons for jaywalking. All charges were dismissed on July 29, 2020.
