Complaint
Description: On October 17, 2020, at approximately 11:30 A.M. in Brooklyn, Ms. Oriscia Balbosa was visiting her friend Sidi at his residence. When Ms. Balbosa and Sidi left the residence, Ms. Balbosa was arrested and handcuffed by two officers. The officers asked whether she had visited a nearby address the day before and she said she had not. The officers took Ms. Balbosa to the 63rd Precinct and informed her that she had been arrested for trespass at said nearby address. She was released approximately 8 hours later. Following several appearances in court, the charges against Ms. Balbosa were dismissed on May 10, 2021.
