Complaint
Description: On November 2, 2021, around 6:00 PM, Plaintiff Hector Vargas was racially profiled and stopped near West Fordham Road and Andrews Avenue, Bronx, by Defendant Officers Ariel Guzman, Amadeo Oktrova, Edgar Rivera, John Doe, John Roe, and Gina Mestre. Defendant Officers assaulted Plaintiff in the head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was taken to the 52nd precinct and strip searched before his arraignment. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours before he was released (unclear if pre-arraignment), and the charges were eventually terminated.
