Description: On February 6, 2020, Plaintiff J.J.S, a minor, was lawfully on the street in Bronx County when a police officer purposely shoved his body into him and knocked him backwards. After JJS objected, he tried to walk away, and three officers, Defendants Officer Kenneth Caufield (Shield No. 21338), Officer Harmanjot Singh (Shield No. 16466), and Officer Juan Trinidad (Shield No. 19418), surrounded him. One of the officers grabbed JJS, pushed him up against a fence, and pinned him to it. JJS had his head forced into the fence with great pressure, his foot stepped on, and his arms jerked back and up, which caused JSS' body to violently fold in half. Description: On September 20, 2019, plaintiff C.G., a minor, (by his father Sixto Gutierrez) was sitting in the passenger seat of a friend's car when defendant Officer Harmanjo Singh (Shield No. 16466) and another unidentified officer approached the car. They demanded CG's identification, which he explained that he did not have because he was only 16 years old. Defendant Singh then pulled CG out of the car, searched and grabbed him aggressively, and then slammed his body on its right side against the concrete. This caused CG to dislocate his right hip and suffer emotional distress.
