Complaint
Description: On May 19, 2020, around 5:30 PM, Plaintiffs Sheldon Moore and Johnte Smith were racially profiled and stopped and frisked near Davidson Avenue and West 176th Street, Bronx, when Defendant Officers Victor Paredes, Doe, and Roe falsely arrested them, and then transferred them to an unnumbered precinct and the Bronx Criminal Courthouse (215 E 161st St, Bronx). Both Plaintiffs Moore and Smith were held over for over 24 hours and required to make numerous court appearances before the charges were dropped. Defendant Officers Paredes, Doe, and Roe strip searched both Moore and Smith at an unidentified location, and beat his head, neck, back, body, and limbs.
