Description: On November 23, 2015, plaintiff Emmanuel Enang was in the lobby of the 1895 University Avenue building in the Bronx when Defendant NYPD Officers Dino Davilla and Frankly Galindo responded to a family dispute. Plaintiff's brother's girlfriend had called the police in an attempt to evict plaintiff from his residence, his deceased grandmother's apartment, so plaintiff showed the police his ID, mail, and old rent checks when they arrived. Plaintiff became agitated after his brother's girlfriend insulted his deceased grandmother and hit his TV with a hammer as the responding officers stood in the hallway in front of the master bedroom in his apartment.
