Complaint
Description: Plaintiff was driving when Officer Twum and Catanzarita performed a traffic stop on the Plaintiff's vehicle. Plaintiff attempted to record the interaction with his phone. However, both officers then grabbed Plaintiff's arm, pulled him out of the vehicle and knocked the phone out of his hand. They then shoved him against the vehicle and handcuffed him. He was taken to the precinct and charged with dis con, resisting arrest, and reckless driving. Charges were dismissed and Officer Twum's testimony was found to be incredible during bench trial.
