Description: On November 17, 2021, Officers Lopez, Santomero, and unknown officers Doe and Roe approached, stopped, searched, assaulted, and detained Plaintiff Keith Wilcox with no legal justification. They subjected Mr. Wilcox to a strip search, arraigned him, and falsely and malicious subjected him to prosecution despite that he had committed no crime. He was incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably.

Description: On September 19, 2019, Plaintiff was lawfully on the street when approached by P.O.s including Officer Kelvin Guillen and Officer Nicholas Santomero. With no arrest warrant or probable cause, P.O.s stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained Plaintiff. Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search and was incarcerated for over 24 hours. During the arrest and detainment, Plaintiff sustained injuries as a result of assault and battery by P.O.s to his head, neck, back, body and limbs. All charges against Plaintiff were eventually terminated.

Description: The plaintiff was home when the defendant officers entered and arrested the plaintiff's brother. While they handcuffed the plaintiff's brother, the plaintiff asked if he could be of assistance and informed the officers that the plaintiff was in fact an Auxiliary Police Officer. After the plaintiff's brother was put in the police car, the defendant officers took the plaintiff's badge and told him to report to the 47th Precinct where he was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration. The DA declined to prosecute.
