Description: On April 24, 2017, Plaintiff, then a senior at Manhattan College, was in the middle of her final exams. One of Plaintiff’s friends was concerned that Plaintiff was stressed, so she called the school to do a check on the Plaintiff. Security from Manhattan College, including Defendant Juan Cerezo, Director of Public Safety, located Plaintiff, who was taking an exam. Plaintiff informed Security that she was fine and continued with her exam. Afterwards, Plaintiff went to sit in her car in the parking lot. Cerezo called 911 and falsely reported that Plaintiff was suicidal and a danger to herself and others.
