Description: On September 16, 2018, Plaintiff was walking with his friends when he was approached by NYPD officers, including Stephen Reyes. The officers questioned plaintiff without justification, then unlawfully searched him. They arrested Plaintiff, purporting to have seen evidence of serious illegal activities. In the process, Plaintiff was tightly handcuffed, causing injury to his hands and wrists. Defendant officers fabricated evidence and forwarded it to prosecutors while simultaneously suppressing exculpatory evidence. Plaintiff was in custody for 7 months.
