Description: On or about January 19, 2013, Plaintiffs were in a parked vehicle when they were unjustifiably arrested and assaulted by Defendant police officers. Moments before this incident, NYPD officers were apparently in the process of arresting another individual not associated with Plaintiffs. Defendant police officers had taken a female and pushed her against the trunk of Plaintiff Benoit’s vehicle as he sat in it with the motor running. Startled, Benoit’s foot hit the gas. The car did not move.
