Description: On August 14, 2018, Plaintiff was driving through a public intersection when he was stopped by NYPD officers for allegedly not coming to a full stop at a stop sign. Plaintiff, who was not resisting and was not informed that he was being placed under arrest, was restrained and assaulted by Officers Manuel Martinez, Nancy Afaneh, Hassan Gheith, Michael Roder, and “P.O. John and Jane Doe 1-10.” Plaintiff was body slammed into the street, and Officers Martinez, Gheith, Roder, and other unnamed officers punched the plaintiff in the head and body.
