Description: On June 4, 2021, Plaintiff Ishtiaq Ahmed was working as a volunteer at Makki Masjid mosque when NYPD officers Richard Taylor and Natasha Moseley-Jones attempted to enter the first floor prayer room along with four other individuals who had previously identified themselves as "police informants" to the community. Among those individuals was Mr. Adil Khan. Attempting to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, Plaintiff and other volunteers requested that only Officer Taylor and two of the civilians enter, and that the rest use the second-floor prayer room.
