Description: On November 14, 2013, two plaintiffs were in their yard when several officers, including Officer StLouis, approached them in their police car. One plaintiff asked the officers if they had a warrant. When the officers failed to respond, that plaintiff walked inside of his home. The officers ran the other plaintiff's name and saw that he did not have any warrants. Despite that, officers placed him under arrest. Description: On May 3, 2012, Plaintiff was handcuffed and arrested by NYPD Officers James St. Louis and Lamarr Ellis as well as five unidentified officers for ciminal possession of marijuna. Plaintiff did not commit any crime. Upon professing his innocence, Officer St. Louis responded to Plaintiff with statements indicating that the officers arrested him without regard to his guilt or innocence. Plaintiff remained in jail for 2 days and defended his criminal case for over 1 year until he was acquitted after trial on July 26, 2013.
