Description: Plaintiff was with his four young children making breakfast when police officers entered the lobby area of his residence and knocked on the door. Plaintiff stepped into the hallway to speak with the officers and asked them what he could help with him. Officer Hamilton then put his foot in the door to stop the apartment front door from closing completely. When the plaintiff said, "Move your foot, you can't do that", Officer Hamilton grabbed the plaintiff's throat with one hand and pushed his hand behind his back. Plaintiff was then thrown to the ground and was threatened with a firearm. Plaintiff's 14-year-old son was grabbed and slammed into the front door.
