Description: Plaintiff was at home with his 2-year-old daughter when officers knocked on the door and officers barged into his home. Officers asked the plaintiff whether or not he lived at the residence, to which he responded that he did, but that his ex-girlfriend's and her mother's names were on the lease. The ex-girlfriend's mother then entered the apartment, and the plaintiff had to explain that she was barred by a court order from visiting the plaintiff's child. However, the officers immediately asked him to leave. When he attempted to call his sister, the mother grabbed the phone and when they came into contact, the police officers immediately grabbed the plaintiff's daughter and placed the plaintiff under arrest.
