Description: On June 17, 2014, Plaintiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident in Kings County, New York. Plaintiff was thrown off his motorcycle and remained immobile after the accident at the scene. NYPD officers—including PO John Sylvestre, PO Michael DeGregorio, PO Bobby Mohip, PO Kevin Shepherd, Sgt. Jessica Gavars, Detective Christopher Clarke, and Detective Duane Percy— responded to the scene. The defendant officers placed handcuffs on Plaintiff, while he was lying on the street. The officers placed Plaintiff in a neck brace and turned him over, so he was face down on the pavement, on a stretcher. PO Sylvestre then punched the right side of Plaintiff’s face, causing the left side of his head to strike the pavement....
